Comic book version of Mort Walkers classic comic strip, Beetle Bailey, still published in newspapers today. Or does it? Is it so far removed from reality that it doesn't matter? It just bugs me that Beetle is still being beat up. Beetle being beat up sure sends a negative message. I realize that this is like the Roadrunner cartoon (boy, I haven't watched that in ages!) and the Roadrunner being run over or killed or whatnot. The question I have is this: why in this day and age is Sarge still beating up Beetle? Why hasn't Sarge changed his ways? They could have Sarge go through anger management? I realize that isn't his character, so maybe at least the storyline could stop with the violence. I usually read the old favorites, like Beetle Bailey. I think this is the place to post it because I am wanting to have a light discussion, nothing heavy. Okay, I have something I would like to discuss. 2 sale records 0 available Jan 1956 Beetle Bailey 5 1 sale records 0 available Unknown Date Beetle Bailey 6 0 sale records 0 available. ![]()
